Project objectives
To use an aesthetic masonry block for the rear main entrance facing the city to enhance the club’s name and colour regime.
Our solutions
We maintained a close working relationship with the club and a dialogue directly with its chief executive to ensure the smooth running of the project. Fyfestone Premier Polished Skye White masonry block was proposed to the architect and this was then specified. Masterblock blocks were also used on the scheme.
Product features
Fyfestone Premier Polished is perfect for adding value and visual appeal to any commercial build. It has a consistent finish with precise and accurate sizing and is a good alternative to facing brick for specifiers seeking a more distinctive masonry appearance. Premier blocks are available in two formats: solid and multi cell to meet HSE requirements. The polished blocks are polished to produce a high sheen finish whilst exposing the natural aggregates to give a depth of colour.
Masterlite Pro blocks are a range of high strength, robust, load bearing units for use in either internal or external walls available in solid format with a standard strength of 3.6N/mm2 and 7.3N/mm2 plus 10.4 N/mm2 blocks to order. Masterlite Pro blocks are available in standard and paintgrade finishes for various applications and total flexibility.
