At the 2010 North West Regional Construction Awards, our contracting team took first place in the skills and education category.
Professor Andrew Thomas, Chief Executive at CCINW said “Aggregate Industries contracting division has shown great commitment to training and development though all its operations. Working down its supply chain, they have consistently gone beyond the call of duty to deliver skills and education to organisations involved in each contract it undertakes.”
Mike Archer, National Contracting Director said “It’s become a bit of a cliché to say that people are at the heart of our business, but we truly live by this philosophy. In February we became one of the first construction companies to be recognised as a Gold Standard Investor In People (IIP) and this is largely down to our commitment to training and development throughout our business. We are delighted to receive this CCINW award and gain further recognition for our efforts in this area.”
Hosted by the Centre for Construction Innovation North West (CCINW) and now in their fourth year, the awards provide the opportunity to recognise and reward the achievements of the North West construction industry.
