November 2010
The hard work put in by Ronez in the field of health and safety was recognised twice during the Guernsey Occupational Safety and Health Association (GOSHA) annual awards.
The main prize, for outstanding achievement in health and safety for businesses and organisations employing more than 25 people, was awarded to Ronez Operations General Manager, Steve Roussel, and the Guernsey team by the Minister for Commerce and Employment, Carla McNulty-Bauer. By beating entrants from a host of different industries and government departments, Ronez has shown itself to be a leader in the field, not just in our industry, but across the whole of the Island’s economy.
Ronez was also runner-up in the category for the contribution made by a team, for which the entry was submitted by the Ronez Safety Committee demonstrating the commitment to our Zero Harm objectives right through the business. Everybody in the company has been able to contribute in some way to this double success and can all be justly proud of the achievements
