Mike joined the Executive Committee on his appointment to Aggregate Industries in August 2011.
As Managing Director of the Construction Solutions business, Mike has responsibility for the company’s asphalt, contracting and ready-mixed concrete offering as well as coordinating the company approach into major customers and major projects.
He has over 20 years experience in the building materials industry in the UK and overseas and joined Aggregate Industries from Lime Technology Ltd. As Managing Director, he was instrumental in commercialising new approaches towards building materials to suit construction projects in the carbon constrained world of the future.
Mike has also held senior positions with Heidelberg as Commercial Director and Managing Director for their UK operation, Castle Cement. Prior to this he was with Holcim New Zealand as General Manager for the aggregates, cement and concrete divisions.
