Samuel joined Aggregate Industries in January 2011, having previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Aggregates and Other Construction Materials at Holcim Group Support in Switzerland.
He began his career with the Sika Group in 1990 initially as Assistant to the CEO, before undertaking various senior commercial and operational management roles in South and North America. In 1998 he was appointed Head of Business Development and moved to the Sika Group Head Office in Switzerland, before joining Holcim Group Support in 2001.
At Aggregate Industries, Samuel leads the business division operating strategically placed coastal super quarries, a fleet of self-discharging vessels and a network of depots and virtual quarries which provide full product and logistical solutions for customers and trading partners across northern Europe and the Baltic states. He is also responsible for Ronez Ltd., the leading supplier of aggregates, ready mixed concrete, concrete products and road surfacing in the Channel Islands.
Samuel holds a Masters Degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
