Graduate Profile
Essential Requirements:
Degree Disciplines - Grade 2:1 or above in any technical discipline, in particular:-
• Engineering (Civil, Construction, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)
• Geology, Geotechnical
• Geography, Environmental Science
• Quantity Surveying
• Business (must be supported by a demonstrated technical interest/elective)
• High mobility and flexibility to work anywhere in the UK
• Full UK driving licence (or EU equivalent)
• Eligibility to work permanently in the UK
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes
• Knowledge of the Extractives and Construction industry
• Desire to work in our industry in a technical role
• High standard of English Language and numerical skills
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial awareness
• Drive and determination to succeed
• Persuasiveness
• Independent minded
• Team work
Full Time Role (the end goal)
After 18 months graduates will pursue their career in one of the following routes:
• Engineering – Engineering Management Works Engineer, Operations Management
• General Management - GM, Business Manager
• Commercial - Technical Solutions as opposed to Territory Sales
Application process
Stage 1 - Complete the online application form
Stage 2 - Telephone interview
Stage 3 – Completion of on-line testing on numerical and verbal reasoning and an occupational personality questionnaire (OPQ)
Stage 4 – Attend an Assessment Centre where you will meet our representatives and other candidates for the scheme
Stage 5 - Final Interview
