Induction
We want to support all our colleagues to reach their potential. In order to give you the very best start in your new career with us you will have an extensive induction to help get you up to speed with our business, and to understand how we fit into the wider Holcim family so you can find your feet as quickly as possible.

During your first few months, you will have tailored training programmes suitable for your position to give you the support you need to be really great in your role.

Personal development
You’ll also have the opportunity to create a Personal Development Plan with your manager, as part of our ‘Dialogue’ appraisal system. This will be tailored to meet your abilities and aspirations and to help you progress through the Company at your ideal pace. Once this has been identified, you will get the training you need to achieve your agreed aims and objectives.

Professional qualifications
In many of our roles there could be an opportunity for us to support you with funding or study leave for professional qualifications. There may be a structured programme in place in some departments whilst other departments may be able to consider ad-hoc requests if the course is related to your role. We always try to encourage our colleagues to develop their careers so reasonable requests will always be considered.
