With our wide range of construction products and services, we are proud to be able to service the requirements of the Olympic Delivery Authority.

Our commitment to sustainability ensures we offer our clients responsibly sourced materials together with alternative recycled and residual waste products, combined with the ability to use our rail and barge capabilities, reduces the impact of CO² due to long haulage.

We created a ready-mixed concrete ‘double’ plant located directly on the site itself. Not only did this practically eliminate any chance of a breakdown or stoppage halting production, but also confined all concrete mixer lorry movements to the Olympic Park and away from the surrounding roads. At capacity the plant is easily capable of producing around 1000m³ of ready-mixed concrete a day, including a variety of mixes. This concrete is then supplied to the main contractors on site.

Our teams are also supplying the precast concrete terracing units for the Velodrome with seating for 6,000. Due to the unique shape of the cycling track, 140 different designs of unit were required, together with associated stairways and walling, with greater tolerances than normal buildings to accommodate the ‘post stressed’ roof.

The Bennett's Barge "Ursula Catherine" with a capacity of 250 tonnes and one of our larger vessels is removing nine 20 foot containers of waste per week by barge, through the Bow Backs waterways network and the new Three Mills Lock.

Utilising our network of local plants we are also supplying asphalt to the Olympic park and in fact our own contracting team have been sub contracted to install asphalt pavements.

We believe in providing as much support as possible to our clients on major projects and therefore we set up a dedicated project teams including a member of our team working in the clients office. These contracts show how our services are easily accessible.
