Aggregate Industries Completes Acquisition of
Meyer Material Company
Following the announcement of Aggregate Industries’ agreement to
acquire Meyer Material Company, competition clearance has been
granted and the transaction has been completed.
Based near Chicago, Illinois in the United States, Meyer is a
leading supplier of aggregates, ready-mixed concrete and concrete
paving and employs more than 700 people.
The addition of Meyer to the Aggregate Industries group will
strengthen further the Company’s aggregates and related businesses
in the US. Meyer will be fully integrated into Aggregate
Industries’ US operations as a new region and provides new
opportunities for growth around the northwestern part of
metropolitan Chicago and southeastern Wisconsin.
