AGGREGATE INDUSTRIES ACQUIRES MAJORITY STAKE IN ASH
SOLUTIONS
Aggregate Industries, through its Paragon Materials subsidiary,
has reached agreement to acquire a majority stake in Ash Solutions
Limited.
Ash Solutions, based in Ulceby, North Lincolnshire, trades and
distributes high quality ash and ash products for use in the
construction materials market. Ash is a by-product of coal fired
power stations and is used as a cementitious product.
Bill Bolsover, Group Chief Executive of Aggregate Industries,
said: “Ash Solutions is a business that our group has been trading
with for some time and they are able to provide a high quality
cementitious material which complements our existing product range.
The business will form part of our Cementitious Division of which
Nabil Bouris is the COO and I am delighted that Les Drury, founding
shareholder of Ash Solutions, will remain as its Managing Director.
We are looking forward to working together to continue to develop
the business.”
