We have a wide customer base, delivering everything from a one-off load to local builders to high profile projects such as the Olympic site in East London and the M1 Junction 25-28 widening program.
We are based in Leicestershire at Bardon Hill, Coalville, where it has operated since the 1850s. Bardon Hill Quarry is one of the company’s five super quarries, the others being in Somerset another in Leicestershire plus two in Scotland. These quarries each produce over 1 million tonnes of crushed rock each year.In addition to utilising road transport, we also have facilities to distribute materials by rail, river and sea using its sister business around the UK. This takes hundreds of thousands of tonnes of aggregate and crushed rock off our road network, saving both carbon and costs.
