Bradstone provided the ideal solution to the customer's needs, by providing a product that had already met the planning criteria and was aesthetically pleasing
The developers required an aesthetically pleasing product, which would complement the mixture of brick, render and stone houses, and would also meet the planning requirements for this housing development.
Bradstone’s Cotswold Slates were specified for the development. Lee Sharland, Director, Sharland Roofing, said: “Cotswold Slates were selected by a consortium consisting of representatives from Crest Nicholson, the local planning authority and Sharland Roofing.”
Bradstone Cotswold Slates are readily available, reconstructed stone roofing slates, which retain the characteristics of the original natural stone slates from which they are moulded. The slates are readily accepted by local authority planners.
Cotswold Slates were particularly suitable for this project, as they helped create the desired look while meeting the requirements of the local planners.
