Permachannel is a channel drain that functions as a combined run-off collection, silt/effluent interceptor and treatment system. The system is designed to be laid with zero gradient to prevent the development of lateral velocities, thus its initial function is to ‘still’ sheet run-off from each sub-catchment and to encourage silt deposition along the length of each channel. The outlets discharge from the side of the channel via a weir and baffle system.

Prescribed micro-catchment with proportional effluent and silt loading
Trapped effluent naturally treated by aerobic digestion
Can incorporate pollution treatment interceptor systems
For use with all surface and subbase options

Applications
