From conceptual design through to construction, we offer a full SUDS design and project management service; the key stages and elements of this service are summarised below:

Stage 1: Data review and outline conceptual design

• Review of site data, drawings, design parameters for stormwater drainage scheme
• Preparation of preliminary calculations for drainage design
• Preparation of philosophy statement to explain conceptual design
• Preparation of schedule of principal quantities

Stage 2: Conceptual design and scheme detail

• Review of site data, drawings, design parameters for stormwater drainage scheme
• Preparation of effluent silt loading calculations for stormwater treatment
• Preparation of AutoCAD drawings showing conceptual scheme arrangement and typical details
• Preparation of bills of quantities

Stage 3: Detailed scheme design

• Preparation of detailed hydraulic and structural calculations for submission to scheme Engineer and Contractor
• Hydraulic modelling of drainage scheme
• Preparation of detailed engineering drawings showing layout, construction details, ancillary details sufficient for issues as tender or construction drawings
• Preparation of pre-tender CDM risk assessments relevant to the proposed scheme
• Preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings (if required)
