The Board
The Group's businesses are divided into four operating
divisions: UK Aggregate Products, US Aggregate Products, Building
Materials and Cementitious Materials.
The UK Aggregate Products, Building Materials and Cementitious
Materials divisions are headed by Chief Operating
Officers who report to the Group Chief Executive who in turn
reports to and is a member of the UK and US Boards.
The US Aggregate Products division is headed by a US Chief
Executive Officer who is a member of the US Board and reports
to the Group Chief Executive.
In each country the Boards oversee the performance of the
Company, agree strategy and major capital projects, and ensure that
the Company and the businesses are adhering to the principles of
good corporate governance. The Boards have three
sub- committees: Audit, Compensation and Compliance
and Corporate Social Responsibility.
