Benoît-Henri Koch
Non-Executive
Chairman
Benoît-Henri Koch completed his education as an engineer at the
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich. He
joined Holcim in 1977, occupying various positions at Group
companies in Belgium, Brazil, France and Switzerland until
1992.
He has been a member of the Executive Committee since 1992 and
is currently responsible for North America, UK, Norway, the Iberian
Peninsula, Morocco, Lebanon, Madagascar and international
trading.
He became Non-Executive Chairman on 24 October 2007.

Bill Bolsover
Group Chief Executive Officer
Bill Bolsover joined the Board of Aggregate Industries in
December 2000 as Managing Director of the UK operations. He was
appointed Group Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for
both the UK and US operations in July 2003 and became Chief
Executive of Aggregate Industries Limited on 1st January
2006.
He is also an Area Manager with Holcim having global
responsibility for the Aggregates and Construction Materials
group.
Prior to joining Aggregate Industries Bill was with Tarmac from
1974 where he held senior positions within all divisions of that
company, culminating in his appointment to the Board of Tarmac plc
in July 1999.
Bill is a fellow of the Institute of Quarrying and a director of
the Quarry Products Association and is a Lieutenant Colonel in the
Engineer & Logistic Staff Corps RE (V).

John Bowater
Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer
John became Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer
in 2004 and became a member of the Board on 1 October 2007.
A member of the Group Executive Committee, John also has
ultimate functional responsibility for accounting and finance,
treasury, taxation, internal audit, land and estates, geology,
environment and CSR and information technology for the Group.
Prior to joining Aggregate Industries, John was Executive Director
of the Industrial Minerals Division of Anglo American plc, and a
Director of Tarmac plc.
John is also a Governor of Thomas Telford City Technology College,
a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and
a Director of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

James Retallack
Group Resources Director
James was appointed as Group Resources Director in December 2001
and joined the Board on 1 October 2007.
In addition to being a member of the Group
Executive Committee and, with the CEO and CFO, having overall
responsibility for the strategic management of the Aggregate
Industries Group, James has specific responsibility for human
resources, health and safety, legal services and compliance,
secretarial, insurance, pensions, and communications.
James is a solicitor who was formerly a
senior partner of Edge Ellison and, after that firms merger with
Hammond Suddards in 2000, was the senior partner of the Birmingham
office of Hammonds.

John Carr
Non-Executive Director
John Carr was born in the UK and has been a US
resident for over 25 years. He joined Tarmac in 1981 and held a
number of senior positions with the company culminating in his
appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Tarmac America Inc. in
1996, a position he held until the end of 2000.
John has served as Chairman of the Board of
Southern Concrete Products, LLC and Paver Systems, LLC since 2001,
when the two companies acquired the Tarmac America Building
Products business. He also sits on the Board of Directors of
Jamestown-Yorktown Educational Trust, Greater Norfolk Corporation
and Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority. John formerly
served on the Board of Directors of the National Stone Association
and The Florida Concrete and Products Association. He was appointed
to the Board of Aggregate Industries on 1 May 2007.

James Davis
Non-Executive Director
James Davis is a consultant with Freshfields, the City law firm,
specializing in general corporate advice, public and private
mergers and acquisitions and private equity work. He was a Partner
with Freshfields from 1976 and opened and led the firms Singapore
office from 1980 to 1984. James was also a member of the firms
partnership council for seven years.
He is Governor Trustee of Suttons Hospital in Charterhouse and
Trustee of the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology Trust. James
became a member of the Aggregate Industries Board on 1 May
2007.

Christopher Garnett
Non-Executive Director
Christopher Garnett was appointed to the Board
of Aggregate Industries on 1 May 2007 and is also a Board member of
the Olympic Delivery Authority - with special responsibility for
transport - and a member of the ODA audit committee.
Prior to this, Christopher was Chairman and
Chief Executive of Great North Eastern Railway and Senior Vice
President – Rail for Sea Containers Ltd. In addition to holding
other senior positions with Sea Containers Limited, Christopher was
Commercial Director of Eurotunnel Plc and European Sector Director
for Sealink British Ferries.

Don
Reed
Non-Executive Director
Don Reed joined the Board on 1 March
2002. After graduating with a BA honours degree in history in
1966 from the Virginia Military Institute he served as an officer
with the 82nd Airborne & First Infantry Divisions
from 1967 to 1969 where he was awarded three Purple Hearts and two
Bronze Stars.
His business career has been spent in the telecommunications field
with 30 years at NYNEX (now Verizon), mainly in operations (CEO New
England Telephone and NYNEX Yellow Pages) and latterly as President
and Group Executive, where he was responsible for directing its
regional, national and international government affairs, public
policy initiatives, legislative and regulatory matters and public
relations. He was a director of Cable & Wireless plc from
August 2000 to December 2002.

Angela Yeoman, OBE, DL
Non-Executive Director
Angela Yeoman is the former Chairman of Foster
Yeoman Limited, which was the largest privately owned quarrying
company in Europe, prior to it being purchased by Aggregate
Industries in 2006, when she joined the board as a non-executive
Director.
Mrs Yeoman is influential in many committees,
trusts and clubs within Somerset. She is currently Chair of the
Somerset Community Foundation and sits on the Committee of many
other charities where fundraising and donations to worthy causes is
involved. One such current role is Patron of Frome Victoria
Hospital fundraising appeal, to equip the new hospital planned for
the town.
She is active in promoting access to the
countryside for walkers, biking and horses, through her association
of the MCTT (Mendip Cross Trails Trust), and a trustee for the
Somerset Building preservation. Mrs Yeoman is also Deputy
Lieutenant of Somerset and a former High Sheriff of the County.
