Water treatment works
Our sub-angular to rounded grain shape, petrological composition and high silica content make it ideal media for water filtration – both potable and effluent water treatment. We work closely with all levels of the supply chain, from small independents to specialist contractors and utility companies across the UK, to provide a range of quality filtration media. Our products are supported by a knowledgeable dedicated team and a timely, UK-wide delivery service.
We are prequalified through the Achilles UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database) scheme.
Filter beds
Through Charcon Specialist Products, we offer filter bed walls and tiles.
Swimming pool filtration
Available in 25kg bags for ease of distribution, storage and placement, our graded sands are used extensively for both commercial and domestic swimming pool filtration. We also supply filtration media for natural swimming pools.
Reed beds
We can supply both silica sand and gravel for reed beds.
Industrial water filtration
We are used across a wide range of water filtration applications in many industries and manufacturing processes.
