Details of  our competition

‘Leicestershire Through a Lens’ is an open photography competition aimed at capturing the very essence of Leicester or Leicestershire life, that is personal to the photographer. In 2010, the challenge is to feature people as the main subject with signed permission being gained from the subjects (or parental/guardian consent if the subject is under 16) before submission.

Run over the four seasons of the year, all the winning entries will be showcased in a 2011 calendar. This calendar will then be distributed at the end of 2010 to local organisations for their own fundraising purposes. All competition rules and regulations can be viewed online at www.leicestershirethroughalens.co.uk, which also contains a selection of example photographs. This website will be updated as appropriate as more information becomes available.
