In 2012, our parent company Holcim is celebrating 100 years of operation and to celebrate employees worldwide volunteered a day of their time in the communities in which we operate.
At Aggregate Industries, employees the length and breadth of the UK and into northern Europe spent time painting, marshalling, building, chopping, planting and advising groups and charities in their communities. The global aim was to engage as many of our 80,000 employees as possible to work one day in the year for the community – volunteering for a good cause in the name of Holcim and we had fantastic engagement from right across our business. This is very much in line with our values and our commitment to sustainable development and has been continued by many of our employees each year since.
If your charity or organisation could benefit from a helping hand from volunteers to assist in your sustainable cause, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org giving your name, contact details and an overview of your organisation and where it operates - and we will see if we can help.
