As one of the first construction companies to gain IiP gold status, the team were praised by assessors for their embedded culture of training, coaching and 'inspirational' leadership.
The report stated: “People have a sense of pride in working for Aggregate Industries’ Contracting because they believe ‘we are the best.' They have a sense of belonging due to the excellent team spirit and a sense of ownership because they feel empowered. There is a lot of talk about being allowed to 'get on with it' without being micro-managed. People are proud to work for Aggregate Industries.”

Around 15,000 organisations across 75 countries hold IiP accreditation but only three per cent of these have achieved the gold standard, which identifies 'world class best practice.'
