The award is formal recognition for Aggregate Industries’ innovative sales support platform in its Regional Customer Centres (RCCs), which provides a strong foundation to develop the business’ performance in terms of both sales and customer experience.
Now in its twelfth year, the BESMA Awards identify and celebrate the outstanding expertise, talent and achievement by organisations, individuals and teams in driving company performance. It also recognises the pivotal role that sales play in creating a thriving UK economy. A record number of over 800 nominations were received this year, with Aggregate Industries finalists in three categories; Sales Support Team of the Year, Sales Employer of the Year and Sales Manager of the Year.

Not only do these awards recognise the success of the RCC concept and those working in the Sales Admin, Inside Sales, Customer Service and Logistics teams but also the hard work and dedication of the teams who implemented them.

Regional Customer Centres were introduced to the Aggregate Industries business to better understand and service customers’ needs with a primary objective to make doing business as easy as possible - whether fast, reliable response and hassle free ordering or working together to find solutions to customers problems. The RCCs also allow for greater collaboration across all of Aggregate Industries’ business divisions, enabling customers to secure complete product solutions for entire projects.
