The executive committee is responsible for the strategy formulation, operational management of the business, measuring and improving performance and evaluating major capital projects.
Our business activities are divided into sub segments; Aggregate Products, Cementitious Materials, Landscaping, Structural and Aggregate Industries Overseas. This approach gives us a clear focus in the development and management of our product and service offering. Alongside our business operations sits a shared service function.
Alain become CEO of Aggregate Industries on 1 April 2010. Prior to his appointment he was CEO of Holcim Spain.
John is Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive. He became a member of the Board in July 2004.
Miles graduated from University of Hertfordshire (UK) in 1996 with a degree in Environmental Studies and has since completed a PhD in stakeholder management at the University of Bath (UK).
A member of the Executive Committee since January 2008, Steve is functionally responsible for all People issues in the business.
As Director for the Concrete Products Division, Mike is responsible for the landscaping and precast concrete products manufacturing businesses throughout the UK.
Samuel was appointed Director of the Overseas Business in January 2011 having previously been with Holcim in a number of senior roles.
James joined Aggregate Industries in April 2011 with specific responsibility for the management of the Company's UK and European legal, compliance, secretarial and insurance issues.
