Over the years at we have developed our mangers in a variety of different ways. We currently offer two courses.
Postgraduate Diploma in Management & Leadership
In 2008, we developed a postgraduate programme of management and leadership for employees in partnership with Loughborough University.
The course covers seven units of study aimed at developing further knowledge and understanding of managing a modern business or department, 43 managers have taken part in the programme to date with 3 contining onto an MSc and 8 continuing onto a MBA.
Diploma Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management awarded by the CMI
In 2010, we introduced a consistent standard for management – The Management Development Programme, held at Ashorne Hill Management College, in Warwickshire. The course is designed to enable our managers to acquire a range of skills that will enhance overall performance and effectiveness.
The course is aimed at first level managers, team leaders and supervisors, as well as experienced managers who would like to improve their skills and the performance of their teams.
The Management Development Programme delivers a high impact learning experience, combining experiential learning in the outdoors with more traditional class based learning methods as well as business projects to apply skills in the workplace. The content of the programme has been designed around our leadership competencies, to ensure 100% relevance to our managers on a daily basis. Successful completion results in a recognised management qualification.
Managers will apply their learning practically between modules, by implementing key business projects (Leadership in Health and Safety, Performance Management, Business Improvement).
