Fly Ash (also known as Pulverised Fuel Ash, or abbreviated to PFA) is supplied to the ready-mixed concrete and concrete products markets as a cement replacement.
Our Fly-Ash is quality assured and conforms to the criteria set out in BS EN 450-1 and BS EN 450-2 these standards dictate the chemical and physical properties of the Fly Ash.
Features and benefits of using PFA as a cement replacementAs cement is a heavy contributor to the CO2 emissions in the UK, the less cement that is used in concrete manufacture the lower the impact the concrete industry has on the environment.
