ProPitch
Propitch
ProPitch is a specialist washed silica sand which is used as a medium fine moist top dressing, rootzone sand or where pitch amelioration is required. Levenseat's specialised production process ensures ProPitch 20 & ProPitch 25 have a high performing percolation rate which will improve any area where drainage is an issue.
Using ProPitchit has been found to improve the quality of the pitch by providing improved drainage, reducing soil compaction. This is due to ProPitch's high performing percolation rate which will improve any area where drainage is an issue. ProPitch amelioration sand has been designed to create a well structured soil with air-filled soil pores which will improve drainage.
Suitable for enhancing and improving the drainage of football pitches, rugby pitches and other natural Sports pitches, either through spreading across the surface and working into the soil profile or for amelioration into bare earth before turf establishment.

Levenseat's ProPitch Rootzone is a medium fine quality screened rootzone which utilises our ProPitch 25 washed silica sand. This blend of the ProPitch 25 and the optimum soil is designed to create the perfect Rootzone. The blend consists of medium fine Silica sand. This blend uses the rounded sand grains for excellent grass root growth and at the same time adding strength, robustness and good drainage. This mixture is perfect for use on natural sports pitches.

ProPitch 20 Rootzone is a medium coarse quality screened rootzone utilising a blend of the ProPitch 20 washed silica sand. It is designed to enhance water drainage on sports pitches. ProPitch 20 Rootzone specially designed blend works by helping maintain successful water management, preventing waterlogging and helping the overall durability of the turf.

ProPitch Medium is a coarse sand used for amelioration on natural pitches. ProPitch Medium is ideal for topdressing and rootzone mix, helping to produce smooth, healthy natural sports pitches. In addition to smoothing the surface, sand topdressing helps to dilute thatch and organic matter to keep air and water moving through the soil profile.

Garside ProPitch Elite is specifically designed for use in areas of increased rainfall and offers improved permeability. ProPitch Elite sand grading is concentrated in the middle and top end of the grading, allowing for an almost single sized aggregate which gives a boost infill drainage. This sand profile of ProPitch Elite allows rain water to go through the soil at a massively increased rate. The grading of the ProPitch Elite also helps keep the soil profile open, by means of aeration. Pro Pitch Elite sand is proven to percolate 20% faster than Pro Pitch 2EW.
