A COVID-19 message to our customers

A message from our CEO Guy Edwards on the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.

Dear Customer,

Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, we began to respond and adapt our strategy and processes to the challenges raised by COVID-19 with the health and safety of our employees, customers and our communities guiding our decisions.

During these challenging times the Team at Aggregate Industries have been working tirelessly to make sure we live up to our vision of being the supplier of choice for our customers, putting your needs at the heart of our strategy. We have all been extremely proud to stand by your side, by offering you the highest level of products and services, and together we have kept Britain running. This meant being there for our customers and stepping up in new ways to ensure we offer continued supply and support you in your most challenging projects. I would like to personally thank you for choosing us to be your partner during these unprecedented times and we are eager to continue our close collaboration, as our industry slowly recovers.

Whilst we are all happy to see the reduction in cases of COVID-19 across the UK, we need to remain as vigilant and maintain the highest safety standards to protect our colleagues, customers and stakeholders. Our Specialist Business Resilience Team has been constantly reviewing the government advice and we are quick to implement all the necessary measures to make sure we keep everyone working with and for us protected at all times. We did so by introducing our 5 Point Safety Plan, a comprehensive set of actions implemented across all Aggregate Industries’ sites, minimising any risk of infection. I am grateful to my colleagues who have spared no effort over the past few months, be it by working from home and making sure our systems and processes are running smoothly, by being on the frontline at the heart of construction, or by safeguarding our business by being on furlough. As a result, as of today, many of our sites are operating as usual and we continue our commitment to be the most customer centric company within our industry.

Best regards,

Guy Edwards, Chief Executive Officer
