Each year, we bring 7 million tonnes of high-quality aggregates into London and the Home Counties by rail and by sea from our three superquarries at Torr, Bardon Hill and Glensanda. This is deposited at our terminal at the Isle of Grain, and delivered to our plants and depots by the most sustainable methods available, keeping road miles to an absolute minimum.
Our aggregates have been used across the capital in numerous high-profile applications, such as the rail ballast on Crossrail and in various uses across the Olympic Park.
