Brief
Coworth Park Estate is located near Ascot, in Berkshire. The House's estate comprises over 14 hectares of gardens and woodlands.
The brief for the landscape design was to create a new luxurious setting for the new use of Coworth Park House as an eco country house hotel, with leisure activities within a wider parkland setting, including the existing Coworth Park Polo Club. The latter is a popular venue within the British aristocracy.
Solution
Aggregate Industries were chosen to supply around 1000m2 Chinese Winter Green Sandstone paving with a riven finish, which was used within the parkland setting. We also supplied 1600m2 Chinese Green Sandstone with a sawn and finely textured finish, which was used around the perimeter of Coworth House and also The Garden Terrace and Formal Gardens.
3000lm of Granite Kerb complimented the Green Sandstone Setts at the entrance to Coworth House, providing a banded contrast to this magnificent period property.
